Meet Debra

My path to interior design began in the arts-first as a painter, then as a designer in the world of luxury fashion.

I spent over a decade at Ralph Lauren, creating accessories and scarves that celebrated craftsmanship and timeless beauty. Later, quilting became a creative outlet that deepened my love of composition, textiles, and storytelling through materials.

Today, I bring that rich blend of artistry, precision, and heart to every interior I design.

My approach is both intuitive and strategic-merging practical planning with refined aesthetics to create spaces that feel deeply personal and effortlessly functional.

"My wife and I love to cook and entertain but our galley kitchen was very restrictive. Debra did an amazing job designing an open floor plan by removing a wall and expanding the kitchen into our unused family room. As an experienced, independent designer, Debra asked the right questions, listened well and focused on our needs. All the storage units, from pullouts and cabinets to equipment garages, are exactly where they need to be. The natural light from the extra windows and island skylight have added to the transformation. Now we joyfully cook at the same time and are each other's sous chef. "We adore Debra! She's detail-oriented, has a fantastic eye for color, and is incredibly responsive.

"We originally consulted with Debra 10 years ago on a bathroom paint color and liked her so much we hired her to remodel our whole house! Her unique talent is seeing how colors fit together and set a mood. Debra had so many great ideas, like the sun tunnel that lights up our previously dark bathroom, the gorgeous teal backsplash tile reminiscent of patinated copper, and custom-made light fixtures. Years later, we still feel good in every room.

She recently completely renovated from the ground up our 100-year-old home office/guest house. It looks like a modern cabin with rustic, beamed wood ceilings and huge glass sliding doors that frame our lush backyard. These projects can be overwhelming but, because she's a good listener and creative problem solver, Debra made them fun."
